Synopsis

De nos jours : sous l’influence du fantôme de sa grand-mère, Zeynep, une jeune femme turque, entreprend un voyage en France avec son fils pour rencontrer Arthur, un vieillard ronchon. En 1915 : Hassan, un adolescent hardi, se retrouve avec la mission difficile de sauver deux enfants, Maryam et Varto. Leur odyssée à travers l’Anatolie aura des conséquences inattendues à notre époque.

Avril 1915. Alors que la Première Guerre mondiale fait rage, un adolescent turc, Hassan, se voit confier par son père une périlleuse mission : accompagner en lieu sûr deux enfants arméniens, Maryam et Varto.

A young teenage Turk is given the difficult mission to save Maryam and her brother Varto, two Armenian children caught up in the 1915 turmoil. They will live an odyssey through Anatolia, sometimes dramatic, sometimes enchanted. This adventure will have unexpected consequences in our day and age where a young woman and her son are going to take a trip from Istanbul to France to meet a grumpy old man who doesn’t want to see them.
